The holidays are upon us! With Thanksgiving right around the corner it feels like it’s the time to bulk up and prepare for the days ahead of fighting long lines, moody people, spending too much money and fighting the stress of it all!
What happened to the days of holidays that focused on love, laughter, and families? Now all we think about is what we will be getting and who can give the best gift.
I love the holiday season. I absolutely love the excitement, the decor, the winter chill, and I absolutely love to give gifts. Being so blessed by companies these past four years I have always tried to give back to my followers, as it makes my heart so full to do so! This year I have been saving up products to make a big Christmas giveaway for you all. This giveaway is full of skincare, hair supplies, and makeup all wrapped in a lightweight backpack!
Skincare and makeup is a major way for me to take time for self care as well as calm my nerves. I’m not one for routines, but bringing in a morning and night skin care routine has helped me start and end my day on positive notes. Now I’m not going to sit here and lie – there are nights that a fast slap of moisturizer is as far as my night routine goes! That being said, it’s the fact I give space for this – the ability to do a little or do a lot, depending on what I feel I need. Skincare has given me confidence in my ability to “rinse & repeat” – something I have a terrible time doing. Routines that benefit me just aren’t my cup of tea.
Makeup on the other hand, THAT is my art. It’s a favorite pastime and I love how it can make you feel like a totally different person when you need it to! I don’t take myself too seriously or even think I’m great at my art but I love the routine of order when applying makeup. Now see there I went contradicting myself. Did I not just say I hate routine? Ha! In reality, it’s the rest of the sentence that makes a difference. Makeup is fun, but I don’t have to have it. I want it! So the nice routine of applying it leaves a lot of leeway for art from all walks of inspiration!
These products that I am sharing with you are like the products I use myself to take my stress away and provide a positive pastime for me. They are going to help you begin your routine and maybe you will discover or rediscover your passion. All in all I hope it makes you feel loved and boosts your spirits!
